What is Andar Bahar and why is it so popular?
Andar Bahar is a simple yet exciting card game with origins in South India. Its name means "inside" and "outside" — the dealer places one card in the middle (the joker card), then deals cards alternately to the left side (Andar) and the right side (Bahar). Players bet on which side will receive a card matching the joker card's rank first.
The game is growing in popularity in Bangladesh because it is very easy to learn — anyone can understand it from the very first round, with no complex strategy or prior experience needed. At bkoko, you can play Andar Bahar in real time with professional live dealers, with high-quality video streaming guaranteed.
You can get started at bkoko's Andar Bahar table with a minimum deposit of ৳500. Payment methods include bKash, Nagad, and Rocket — the whole process takes just a few minutes.
How to Play Andar Bahar — Simple Rules
See the Joker Card
The dealer first reveals one card — this is the joker card. Your goal is to predict which side will receive a matching rank card first.
Place Your Bet
Place your bet on either "Andar" (left) or "Bahar" (right). Some tables also allow you to bet on both positions.

Bankroll Management
Decide how much you are willing to spend in each session before you start. Begin with small bets and do not place more than a set portion of your total balance on any single round.
Learn About Side Bets
Many Andar Bahar tables offer side bets — for example, wagering on how many cards will be dealt before the joker card is matched. These can offer bonus payouts, but they also carry higher risk.
Andar vs Bahar
Under standard rules, the first card is dealt to the Andar position, which is why many players consider this side to have a slight edge. However, each round is independent — previous results do not determine the next one.
Practice in Demo Mode
For new players, it is worth playing in free or demo mode before wagering real money. This helps you get a good feel for the rules and pace of the game.
